Setting up email

To set up email for websites you have already added to your account:
1. Click the "Websites & Email" tab.
2. Click on the website you want to work with in your list of websites.
3. Click on the "Email Accounts" tab.
4. Under "Email Accounts For Your Website" click on "Add."
5. Provide Username, First Name, Last Name and Password in the appropriate text boxes on the form and click "Add."

You can access your email account on the internet by using "webmail." and your domain name (Ex. webmail.yourdomain.com) and providing the username and password information you gave when setting up the account.

Anti-virus and spam filtering are both provided and turned on by default for every email account you set up. Suspected spam will be marked with "[SPAM?]" in the subject line of the message. Additionally, you can set up filters to sort these messages into a separate folder.

The POP/IMAP server and SMTP servers are both "mail." and your domain name (Ex. mail.yourdomain.com). These are the servers you'll need in order to configure your email address with any email client (Ex. Outlook, Eudora, etc).

To set up a catchall email account:
1. In the control panel, click the "Websites and Email" link in the left navigation bar.
2. Select the domain for which you wish to add a catchall account from the "Websites" list.
3. Click the "Email Accounts" tab in the bar at the top of the page.
4. Add the email account that you want to use for the catchall.
5. Under "Mail Preferences" at the bottom of the page, select "Send them to this account (catchall)" and select the account you want to use from the pull-down menu. This is set by default to return emails addressed to non-existent accounts to the sender.
